How to read the diagram
The package includes a standard Stratocaster circuit board (3 single-coils, volume, 2 tones, 5-way selector) and a .28 SPDT (On-On) mini-toggle or push-pull pot. A wire is soldered between the terminal of the 5-way selector for the neck pickup and the outer terminal of the mini-switch.29 A second wire connects the center terminal of the mini-switch to the common output of the 5-way selector (connected to Terminal 1 of the Master Volume).29
Practical steps
